When it comes to content sharing, working from home is like doing homework. It’s just part of the job. All the real work is done when I’m at home. Sitting alone in a dark room editing photos. Not to sound dramatic but you do what you gotta do to stay focused. Although I have to admit its very rewarding, especially when you get work done and meet all your goals. I try to set myself up for success. For instance, I get dressed as if I were going to an actual office. I mean a cool office where you get to wear jeans. Also I’m very clear about working hours and of course breaks. Lunchtime is lunchtime. Lunchtime is not eating a sandwich over your computer and making a mess. Lastly, I try to stay connected with my business partners and clients. While it’s ideal if you can occasionally meet in-person with people, sometimes it’s not possible. In that case, video chatting is the next best thing, with Google+ Hangouts and Skype being excellent mediums for doing it. Anyway I don’t want to take up too much of your time. You get back out there and share something great.
